I had my first ablation in July and yes it was painful and difficult to eat for 3 weeks however, I just had my follow up endoscopy and the results were excellent.  My doctor had to ablate a couple of small areas however he was very encouraged with my result and I had seen the pictures and I was very happy.  Do your research on Ablation but IMHO I think it is definately worth it.]]></description>

Women often have this symptom when they are stressed out - it is anxiety induced. I suggest taking your anti acid- ie nexium once or twice per day for 6 weeks and see if it goes away. if it doesnt, go see ur local ENT doctor first and later see the GI guy. good luck.
